If you, your family or friends or as part of a club or group want to get involved in fundraising for INTERIM or want to join with us in our fundraising activities, we will be very pleased to have you!

There are many ways you can support INTERIM:

  • through our fundraising events

  • by arranging your own fundraising event

  • by leaving a collection box in your local pub, shop, restaurant, or at work

  • employee fundraising & volunteering

  • you can donate money, time or goods

By fundraising you will help raise awareness of the work we are doing right now and hope to do in the future. In return we will offer you recognition through publicity in our own literature, through national and local press and online media.

We rely on your donations to create opportunities for users of our services and we are enormously appreciative for every donation we receive. You can make a Donation Now or read about Other Ways of Donating.

Gifts in kind/in-kind Donations:

Donating a gift in kind can showcase your company’s products or services whilst also raising vital funds for us.  Goods and services can make fantastic prizes for fundraising raffles at one of our events or for one of our online auctions.

Restricted funds:

You choose what we spend the funds on, a Scholarship or Grant perhaps or a specific package of counselling and psychotherapy for someone who could not otherwise afford it.

Unrestricted funds:

Which means we can target the funds where they are most needed, a particular psychoeducational project perhaps for a particular cause, (Adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse for example).

You could sponsor a student on placement with INTERIM or sponsor a member of your staff to work with us or to take part in a fundraising activity to create funds for INTERIM.

Gift Aid:

As a taxpayer all you have to do is refer to the Gift Aid Explained and complete a Gift Aid Declaration Form instructing the charity to claim your tax back from HMRC (Higher rate taxpayers include details of donations in your tax return). The declaration can be completed orally or in writing and one declaration can cover a single gift or a series of donations over a specific period.

For every £1 donated by a tax payer INTERIM can claim 28p from HMRC.

A legacy gift is a planned future donation to the charity, given through a will or other form of designation. Legacy gifts to the charity are completely free of Inheritance Tax. A legacy is deducted from your estate before calculating any inheritance tax that may be due.

To find out more, refer to Legacy Giving Explained and/or to make a pledge to INTERIM, please fill in a Legacy Pledge Form.
